A mala created individually, by hand, for the person who will wear and use it. A custom order isn't a matter of picking from a catalog - it's a conversation about the practice the mala is meant to serve, the stones that speak to you, and the intention you want the piece to carry.

How It Works

1. Consultation
We start with an exchange about your practice - whether the mala is for mantra recitation, meditation, a specific intention, or simply a piece you want to carry with you. If you're drawn to particular gemstones, we start there; if not, I can guide you based on the qualities traditionally associated with different stones.

2. Design
Based on our conversation, I select gemstones, spacer beads, and a guru or meru bead suited to the mala's purpose, and confirm the design with you before stringing begins.

3. Handmade Construction
Each mala is knotted and strung by hand, following traditional 108-bead construction, using techniques suited to the mala's daily use as a practice tool - not just as jewelry. Other numbers of beads and designs are available, according to your personal wishes and preferences.

4. Delivery
Your finished mala is sent to you complete, along with a bag and small box for storage, written guidance on how to use it in mantra or meditation practice, and how to care for it over time.

Materials
Gemstones, semi-precious stones, and traditional mala materials like wood are selected based on your consultation.

Timeline
Custom malas typically take 10-14 days to complete from consultation to delivery.
